Note that there are tons of glowing reviews on this and other sites that are very similar--I suspect they are trying to boost their ratings. So I went to this office several times. At first, I thought they were professional, but they charged for things beyond what my insurance paid for and wouldn't do a standard cleaning. Instead, they wanted to do an expensive gum treatment and fill half my mouth. I let him do the 3 worst cavities, but once he numbed me up, he pushed hard to do others, even one that was "new"--diagnosed by sight, not xray. After I spent $1k over my insurance, I went home for the holidays and paid a visit to my childhood dentist, who is a good friend of the family and I'd trust with my life. He didn't find a thing wrong, provided me with the basic cleaning my insurance provided, and gave me a warning that Heartland Dental (who owns Champaign Dental) puts the pressure on its dentists to meet quotas and sell services to earn bonuses.
