Review content:
I brought a suit skirt in for what I thought was a simple, invisible hem, but the seamstress messed it up and sowed through the front of the skirt. When I asked them to fix the hem, they pulled the stitch out in such a way as to damage the skirt. When I went to pick up the skirt, the woman at the counter agreed there was damage and told me she would have the manager call me. He never called and I spent two weeks calling and stopping by the store to try to get the manager to even talk to me. Finally, the seamstress called me claiming that they had done nothing wrong. After more wrangling, I finally got the manager to agree to cover some of the cost of the skirt. When I went to pick up the check, they refused to give me the skirt saying it was either "the check or the skirt" claiming they needed the skirt for insurance purposes. I cannot think of a worst dry cleaning experience.
