Review content:
I've had Clear for 6-8 months now and have been pretty dissatisfied with them. I've used the modem around Renton and SeaTac and despite showing five full bars of signal strength, the connection is very, very slow. It's often difficult to just get normal work done, like checking email and browsing the web, let alone higher-demand things like streaming video. File sharing? Forget it.
The prices aren't really any better than what you'd pay for other providers here. I suppose if you didn't already have a cell phone provider, it might be nice to have the USB modem to take around with you, but that's about the only advantage I can think of. Otherwise, I'd stay away from Clear.
