I thought they have been opened for weeks but turned out today is just their 2nd day. First impression - I was impressed by the modern interior design and super-friendly hostess. We were there at 12:30pm on a Sunday and it was busy! It was a 1.5 hrs wait but thank goodness that BelSq is right next door and they would call you when your table is ready. Here are what we ordered: Crab meat Xiao Lung Bao - Tasty, juicy, dough has the right texture & thickness, but I still think the best xiao lung bao is at Joe's Shanghai in NY. Nothing beats that. Beef Noodle Soup (Spicy) - I was disappointed by the portion as its much smaller than I thought. The noodles are great & chewy. The tenderness of the beef brisket & tendon is inconsistent, unfortunately. The noodle soup is very mild, I mean its really not spicy at all. Hot&Sour Soup - Again, not spicy at all. I guess I thought they would give it a kick to the soup but it's very mild. The only good thing is the soup has loads of ingredients in it. Pork Chop Fried Rice - Save your $3 to get the pork chop only as a snack with no rice. All in all, it was a great experience since I was so looking forward to its grand opening. Its worth the wait to come check it out. I will certainly come back, most likely will try out some other dishes next time and stick to my crab meat xiao lung bao.
