Review content:
I live near Anthony's and have been there several times, typically because Ray's is packed and you can always get a seat in Anthony's. Note: this is a danger sign. Having been really disappointed with their big dinners, which are not very good but cost a lot, my wife and I determined that we would only go there as a last resort. Oh -- I need to add that their drinks are watered down and lousy, too. We decided that we would limit ourselves to burgers and beer; even these things Anthony's botches. Low-grade bun, sorry burger, hucked in a plastic basket, beer "skunked" -- clearly no one rinsed the lines. This is not Ray's, folks. The worst thing is the "clam bake" which you can get cheaply as an appetizer, but the one I got was so overcooked and full of sand that it was inedible. This is a true corporate restaurant gone bad: the employees don't care and the food reflects it. The interior is made gloomy by the 70's era tinted glass and creepy carpeting. Do not waste your money here; I can walk to this place but don't. I cringe that Anthony's is going to take over the new Shilshole restaurant, too. Hey, if you want a taste of the "good" Anthony's, check out Chinook's in Fisherman's bay. Not nearly so bad. The one bright spot about Anthony's is their deck, which is actually really nice, right on the water and with a great view. It is just really too bad that you can't get anything decent there.
