Businiess name:  Bone Room
Review by:  Melanie P.
Review content:
The Bone Room, located on Solano Avenue in Berkeley, always turns heads of people on the street as they pass by. Maybe it's the bat skeleton or preserved butterfly collection, or coffin (that sometimes appears around Halloween) that peaks their interest, or maybe it's the smell of formaldehyde. The Bone Room has been a source of delight and disgust for many children and their parents. Cries of "Mommy, can I get this chicken foot" or squeals of terror abound the store on a daily basis. They also have a selection of "feeder mice" and crickets, for those of us who have a scaly critter back home. You can purchase a green tree frog too, which might make a better pet as far as Mom is concerned. The Bone Room has been featured on Channel 5's "Bay Area Backroads" and "Evening Magazine". Be sure to check out the albino snake in the back of the store.
