Businiess name:  Serpico Italian Eatery
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Serpico's Italian Eatery provides authentic Italian food made with love and respect of the "old country." The owners, Renato and Assunta Serpico were born and raised in Monte di Procida (Naples) Italy, and moved to the States (Brooklyn, NY) during the mid-70's. You can tell this by the many pictures and paintings on the walls throughout the pizzeria. The food is probably the best "fast food" you can get in Downtown Akron and its surrounding area. Their steak and cheese sandwiches are exceptional, as is their pizza, pasta and burgers. (I recommend the Trash Can Burger and the Super Steak Deluxe). Pros: Inexpensive, Fun Atmosphere Cons: Downtown parking, Crowded during Lunch
