Review content:
The major thing that the IP has going for it is LOCATION. You are right on the strip, fairly central, and for a usually good price. Most of the staff seem nice. There is also pretty good cheap gaming. The nickel slots seem to win more often than not. And a novelty hot sake bar. Unfortunetly, the drawbacks tend to outweigh this. First, NO TAXI's. If you are staying at the IP, plan to walk everywhere, or walk across the street to Ceaser's or TI to actually get a cab. Not many of the drivers like to traverse back to the IP pick up area. Probably due to lack of tips from the clientele. 2nd, the wait to check in- huge. just huge. We have stayed here a couple of times, and there is always a line. The 3rd, the lack of elevators. The line for an elevator is nearly as long as the line to check in. The 4th. Only 1 set of restrooms on the casino floor. And the 5th is a bit strange...the classic IP smell. I can't quite put my finger on what exactly that smell is...but it is there. ALWAYS. You could blindfold me and I would know the minute I stepped into the IP. Overall, it truly isn't a bad place to stay if you want to be on the strip and need nothing more than a place to lay your head at night.
Pros: Location Location Location
Cons: No Taxi service, long elevator lines
