Businiess name:  Armstrong's Barber Shop
Review by:  Stefan K.
Review content:
Armstrong barbershop is on 8th Ave North, West of downtown about 1 mile, and it has been open since 1952. The proprietor is a superb barber. Although most of his clientele are Black, he does people of every shade and color and does so in a way that is guaranteed to make you look better. He takes his time. His store's decorations, a living museum, offer testimony to his long involvemen the civil rights movement in Alabama and the history of civil rights across the country. A visit to his store will deepen your sense of history. You will learn about World War 2, about George Wallace, about trying to get the vote in Alabama or anything else. Get ready to be educated while you are prettified.
