Review content:
Carlson installed a new roof on my home in Garfield, NJ about 7 years ago. The work was completed in one day, the workers were pleasant and the property was completely cleaned up before they left. Then the nightmare began . . . I had to fight for them to come back for a service call during the warranty period and another shortly after the warranty expired -- both for poor workmanship: shingles were flying off the roof. The house has been vacant and for sale for the last few months, so I only know the condition as reported by the realtors looking at the property. I recently discovered a large section of shingles had blown off the roof, exposing a hole in the plywood beneath -- which I paid to have replaced, but was evidently never done. Needless to say, due to this condition, the entire house was flooded, through all three floors, and the ceilings are falling down due to water damage. In addition the rest of the roof is buckling in several areas and I've had to reduce the sale price by almost $30,000.00 to cover the damages which I cannot afford to repair.
