Businiess name:  PS 130 - Hernando DeSoto School

Review content:
This is a great elementary school. It is rather big for an elementary school with its two buildings combined. The staff there is excellent and the afterschool programs offer kids many activities to do. The neighborhood is generally safe. It is a block away from the busy Canal Street and Little Italy. There are plenty of restaurants to take your kids to eat if you ever feel the need. The school teaches kids everything from spelling to geography, and of course the basic math and sciences subjects. Students are required to complete a science fair project once they reach a certain grade. This is a great event as it teaches the kids first hand how science works. They also have ESL and Resource programs for children who struggle with school. It is a very well organized school in my opinion.
