DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE DOORMAN'S PITCH TO PURCHASE A $500 TABLE MINIMUM TO GET IN. LITTLE DID HE KNOW THAT WE WERE THERE FOR A PARTY AND WHEN OUR HOST CAME OUT, HE LET US IN. CAN YOU SAY CONMAN?
After having to check our coats ($4/coat) and marching into the basement lined with dead leaves, we were greeted with empty tables and stuck up bartenders and waitresses. The music was decent but standing around watching strobelights was not what we had in mind. We left about 20 minutes later. The drinks were overpriced and we already had a bad taste in our mouths from the doorman trying to con us into buying a table. I'm ok with spending a few hundred at a place that's worth the scene. I'm no stingy partier but when you do it in a way that's deceitful, it just makes me think you're desperate. I didn't want to give them any more of my money so we left.
DO NOT even bother with this club. Completely overrated and there is nothing green or eco-"friendly" about this place.
Pros: Bathrooms were nice
Cons: Watch out for the Rick Fox look-alike doorman, especially when the first words are "Table Minimum" because there isn't one.
