I went to about faces in timonium for a manicure and to have the shellac product applied. When I sat down, I told the manicurist (Lena) that I did not want her to file my nails because I had already done so and she made multiple attempts to file them anyway so much so that I had to pull my hand away. Next, I chose the shellac color that I wanted; it was a dark red. She tried to get me to pick another color because she said that she had never put on a dark shellac nail color before. When she polished my nails, she had more polish on my skin than on my nails and it was all over her hands as well (a 3 year old could have done a better job). She attempted to clean the sides with acetone which started taking the polish off my nails. Then, she put my hand under the UV light and when I looked at my nails, they looked horrible. I told her this and she said that since shellac was a relatively new product, she really didn't know how it worked! I even said to her, "so you don't know what you're doing?" And she said no because it was a new product. I couldn't believe it!! What a nightmare...don't ever go there for a manicure or if you do, don't go to Lena
