Businiess name:  Mellow Mushroom Pizza
Review by:  Dean K.
Review content:
Decorated with nuevo Deadhead shtick and a nice outdoor eating area, The Mellow Mushroom in downtown Asheville is visually appealing for some. Once you sit down and order though, it's like a trip to the Twilight Zone. The waiters and watresses move like they're covered in molasses and wading through tar pits. Slow is the order of the day. The Pizza and other food is fine, once you get it, but you often forget what you ordered during the wait. If you want to sit outside and watch the touristas stroll past, it's not a bad locale. If you're in a rush for lunch or want a quick dinner, forget it. The food is o.k. Nothing special; several other Pizza joints in town do it much better (see Asheville Pizza or Barley's Tap Room)
