Review content:
I decided on my wedding gown my 1st visit to the store with my mother. During my visit my consultant Linda contacted the manufacturer to ensure that my wedding gown would arrive in time for my wedding since the dress had to be cut because of my height. After assuring me that the dress would arrive in ample time for my October wedding I then placed a deposit on the gown so that it could be ordered. I returned to the store the following week with my grandmothers, they too loved the gown and additional money was paid for the gown. Linda again assured us that the gown would arrive in time for my October wedding date. As the date approached for me to pick up my gown, I contacted Linda to ensure that the gown was scheduled to arrive as promised and this is where the games began. From that point forward I was never given a concrete pick up date and was passed from person to person every time I called. I was informed by Linda (via her home phone) that my dress would not be arriving until the middle of November!!! After informing her that this was unacceptable and that I wanted a full refund she told me that was not possible. I went to the store the following day and was greeted by the owners who told me that they were not giving me a refund because I provided them with the wrong wedding date. ALL of my paperwork from Bridal town has the CORRECT date. I will be filing a suit against Bridal town and will also be contacting the news media. The people must be warned so that this does not continue to happen to Brides!
