Review content:
We went to the improv to see a particular comedian but ended up very impressed with the club itself. you can choose to have dinner before the show. If you don't have the dinner there is a two drink minimum per person. The food was very good, much better than the bar food that you can usually get in comedy clubs.
The club is in a fun, funky neighborhood with some great restaurants nearby. On the inside it's new and clean. The staff is attentive and friendly (and according to Jim Norton, very hot).
The way the tables are arranged could be better. They have long cafeteria-type seating and they're very close together so it's hard to get in and out. Also, they won't let you sit across from each other -- you have to be side by side, which is awkward. But overall it was a great night; good place, good food, great comedian.
