Hari Om Mandir is part of the Hindu Society of Metropolitan Chicago. I have been attending services at this temple for many years.
Many new Hindu temples have come up, but this place remains close to my heart. It has a family atmosphere with a focus on spirituality and self-improvement.
Yoga classes are offered. Introduction to meditation and improving your breathing is instructed by well renowned masters. There are always Youth Programs that try to incorporate the next generation.
Many well-renowned and famous swamis and pandits have visited Hari Om Mandir and continue to do so. Hari Om Mandir is a favorite destination of many learned souls who come to spread their knowledge and guide people to the path of righteousness.
Hari Om Mandir has renovated itself and is ever-expanding. It now has a tradition, Hindu appearance on the outside and inside and has expanded it's congregation halls as well as its kitchen area.
I highly recommend those that are interested in Hinduism or bettering themselves to visit. Their website is www.hariommandir.com.
