Review content:
Onopa Brewing Co. is located in the heart of Riverwest. Thus, it shares the funky and gritty attitude of the surrounding neighborhood and neighbors (Riverhorse and Fuel Cafe). The best news here is that the beers are great - well crafted, big and tasty. Best enjoyed in the outside enclosed beer garden (more of a patio actually) on a hot summer day. Friendly and spacey bartenders who play whatever music they feel like playing on the pub sound system are also appreciated if you're going to park yourself on a barstool. Happy hour beers are super cheap! This is a great bonus if you can get here early or have friends and family visiting from out of town! Onopa is also a music venue. Local and touring bands are featured. High ceiling and big windows plus loud bands make for a cool show. However, the beer is really the star here - big, cold, beers.
