Businiess name:  Mitchell James Salon
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
James Mitchell has been styling my hair since 1999. On my first visit I had no specific style in mind, no starlet or rock star I wanted to resemble, and allowed James free rein. The results were such a radical change for me that I almost didn't recognize myself and left the salon fearing that I had made a huge mistake. However the following days were a chorus of compliments and inquiries "Where did you get your hair done?' Family, friends, co-workers and customers all remarked on how flattering the new cut and color were. The pattern has continued for 11 years. James is constantly taking classes and attending professional seminars but whatever the new techniques, different colors, seasonal styles, however updated the look there is one constant: always the resulting hairstyle is flattering to me. From viewing my 'Beauty' appointments as an indulgence my husband now eyes me savvily and notes 'It's time to see the Hair Guy.' In the intervening years James has opened his own salon, I have retired and moved to South County but I still make the trek to Clayton. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Pros: Qualified Creative Stylist Cons: Short walk from parking
