My husband I love going out to breakfast and have tried most of the good restaurants in Seattle. When we go out to breakfast we are looking for good service and good portion sizes. I ordered the Monte Cristo breakfast sandwich. I have never had a Monte Cristo before so being that my husband use to be in the restaurant industry he explained to me what it was. When the sandwich arrived he thought they gave me the wrong thing. It was a tiny open face sandwich with a piece of ham and cheese on it. The tiny sandwich came with a piece of pineapple and melon...no potatoes, hashbrowns, nothing! My husband got the Cornbeef Hash that took up 1/4 of his plate and 1/4 to fruit and that was it. Do not have breakfast at the Atlas- it's a joke! It is pretty hard to screw up breakfast, but they manage to do so. If you want good breakfast in the University area go to Portage Bay. Our favorite place is in Queen Anne- Queen Anne Cafe.
