If you are looking for Quail Corners to be your loving verterinary look elsewhere. They are now owned by NVA out of Augora Hills, California. We took our 4 month old puppy into emergency service for a very small piece of wicker stuck in her very bottom. Vet returned happy our puppy was fine.It was "easy". He was sending us home with some cream for her bottom as she had been sliding on it. 30 minutes later the vet returned with our puppy blood coming out of her nose and mouth and horrible breathing. We asked what happened and the vet got very angry and said "I don't know what happened back there but they put the muzzle on too tight and were giving her a simple bath.. Our puppy loved baths and played in a kiddy pool with our golden retrievers. She doesn't resist and for a ten lb. puppy how much RESTRAINT does it take. After talking with breeders we found they improperly used a headrestraint. Our puppy immediately went into an oxygen unit. Two hours later we are told we can't move her to the vet school because she needs oxygen. After spending the night with our loved little girl, the gaugess on the oxygen container "they don't believe are wroking correctly " because it is showing 88% humidity. They took fans to it but put her right back in.We couldn't even hold her. We called and asked for the vet who had been seeing our girl no speaking to us just didn't have any suggestions. She came in the next morning and told us she "felt really good about this and our little girl had an 80/20 chance".We have signed statements from the vets saying they caused the death of our puppy. Great thing that does for us!Our little girl died after sixteen hours, we wouldn't hold her and the crash cart was not set up to try and revive her. Do NOT let anyone take pet where you can not see them. Quail Corners Animal Hospital ...SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! Stay away from NVA hospitals they are only interested in profit and loss. VP of Operations is arrogant, emotionless, etc. Our puppy is dead and we have two letters signed by vets saying it was their fault that our puppy died! Pros: Great Adminstrator some good staff not much to say for PROs Cons: NOW A BIG CORP.NVA Profit only, Horrible SUPERVISION
