Anyone who knows me knows the kind of honest dependable person I am, and the unfair treatment I recieved at the hands of these people is very close to actionable. They offered me a in house estimate ofr solar panels. OK great come on over, but because I am married, they insisted that my wife be there. My wife has NO interest in this, and she does not want to be bothered with a presentation. They were very insistant, but I said just me or don't come over. They decided it was OK for my wife not to be there. The appointment was arranged for 10am Tuesday.
My Mother is parapelegic, and is going through chemotherapy, I had to rearrange many things to meet this time and appointment. When the time came they insisted that my wife be there. I refused; they cancelled.
If I were single they would have been right over, but I am not, I have a wife. So I am not worth talking to. Even though the house is in my name only. And I explained this to them. The "lady" said to me "so if we were able to give you a fantastic price you could say yes and authorise?" Well, big surprise YES I COULD. I do not need my wifes permission to buy anything. When I bought my truck, I did not need my wife there. When I refinanced my house, I did not need my wife there. So why do I need my wife there to hear about solar panels? Lady's, can you imagine if someone told you that you needed you hubands PERMISSION to buy something, or even hear something? Imagine how violated you would feel.
Do not go to these people. If they can only talk to the BOTH of you, there is a scam going on here.
Really, save yourself some irritation. There are other really reputable places out there.
Oh and these other companies came with out my wife being there. That is respect for me, my house and our families wishes.
