Wow, I don't know where all this misinformation and garbage comes from. I've been a very happy customer of Noah's for over 6 years now, and I'm very familiar with the facility, and have had discussions with ex-employees who have never indicated such "neglect" occurred. Not sure how "hangings" occur when the dogs do not wear collars and/or leashes in the daycare areas or while boarding. As for daycare dogs getting free, the entrances and exits are all interior to a tremendously high fence. I know some dogs can and do climb, but my friend's dog (a climber) was identified and spent his daycare indoors after a couple of escape attempts. Yeah, it's close to a busy road, and if your dog does break free - from you or someone else - there's a risk of a dog being hit. I've never seen any incident of the type. And yeah, the dogs sometimes sit around and watch the cars go by. They're dogs. They don't just frolic and play for hours on end like your kids might - dogs spend a huge amount of time resting and dozing, like when they're at home with you. My dog has never come back from Noah's with fleas or kennel cough, and I take her to daycare 5 days a week and she boards there at least 5 to 10 days a year. I find most of the staff helpful, knowledgeable and personable. Yes, occasionally there are one or two that don't "get" customer service, but they tend not to stay long. I also am very pleased with the veterinary services, and my pup has gotten nothing but the best care from Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Holstein. Are they perfect? Occasionally some small mistake will be made (forgot to clip nails when requested; things like that). Has my dog come home with a bite? Just once - but don't forget, dogs "play" with teeth & paws. These things happen. Go visit. Tour the facility. Talk to the regulars. Then make your decision.
