I have been going to this place to get a haircut ever since moving to San Leandro a few years ago. I mostly gone there to get a short cropped haircut. I cannot vouch for the other hair stylists in this salon, but the lady owner of this place really does a superb job with male haircuts. I usually ask for her to trim my hair because she's very consistent, meaning that my haircuts look more or less the same each time I go there. For the price (decent at $11) she sure is painstaking in getting your hair to look just the way you want it.
As far as other hairstyles, I can't really say whether this is the place to go. My mom had one bad experience there when she wanted a certain perm style (she presented a picture of a lady with the particular style) and it didn't turn out the way she wanted it at all.
