Ten Thousand Villages sells household items, jewelry, toys, stationary, and even coffee. The jewelry selection is great - the styles are very "in" right now with bold chunky accessories and vibrant colors. I bought one necklace, a bracelet and an anklet for about $30. Ten Thousand Villages is also great to purchase household items and gifts for friends. There seems to be infinite trinkets in the store - you won't notice everything the first time around . Additionally, part of the proceeds go to help needy families overseas.
