So my friends invited my husband and I to Harveys for the first time. I had went to this website and read all the reviews prior. Wow, not good at all. So I was already skeptical. We went anyways, (free tickets) We walked right in with no lines. I had read not to eat there food but my friends had ordered the nachos and to my surprise, they were actually really good. I also read not to order any mixed drinks because they are over priced and weak, so I stuck with wine which you cant mess up. the service was fine, nothing took extra long or anything. The comedy was great and we had a wonderful time. When it was time to pay they had our credit card with them to "hold the tab open" but i didnt want them to run it so I paid cash and they gave us the card back. When I got home i had a sneaky suspicion that the server could have pocketed the $40 i handed her and still have charged my card. Sure enough, I just checked my account and Wammo!!!!! There it was, a charge from Harveys. I guess i could have refused to hand her over the card. So I just called to speak with the manager and left a message. I have a feeling that no one will return my call until I finally get a hold of them again. I dont have any proof that I paid cash but I guess I will have to prove that i also didnt sign a credit card slip as well. If you go, dont dont dont hand over any credit card and bring cash so you dont go through this. wish me luck all. sneaky suspicion
