This company provided me with a false and inaccurate estimate claiming I had 1,191sf of exposed floor space to be cleaned. Later measurement by an independent third-party contractor determined that the actual exposed space was 932sf, meaning that the bill was inflated by approximately 259sf. I am an attorney with a construction background, and I immediately realized his measurements were incorrect, but unfortunately most of their customers will never know that their bills are being improperly padded. What this company will do is measure your gross space, refuse to move any furniture, and then only clean the substantially smaller exposed area. When confronted, the owner-operator realized that I had discovered his deceit and went berserk and abandoned the job. He then proceeded to berate me for over 20 minutes in my driveway and refused to leave until I threatened to call the police department. This was disappointing because they had done a previous job for me, and although they likely overbilled me, they were extremely professional on the first job so I invited them back for a much larger job. When I told the owner-operator that I would be making this information public on the internet, he directly threatened me and my business and warned me not to write this review. Unfortunately, I do not respond well to threats, although I have a good-faith believe that he is capable of carrying them out. When asked if it was possible that he made a mistake, he stated that he had never made a mistake in his life, which I took to mean that he was 100% aware of his inflated measurements, in my case an attempted overbilling of 22% which could not have been a simple math error. This company is dishonest, and I would strongly caution against allowing this dangerous person into your home. I have professional computer-generated schematics of my home along with this company’s estimate, which support the above claim of incorrect measurements which I have provided to the California Attorney General’s office.
