For our recent honeymoon in Europe, we booked two vacation rentals through New York Habitat. It was our first time booking apartments overseas, so we were unsure what to expect, but discovered that New York Habitat provided a quick and easy service, and a great selection of properties to suit different travellers and budgets.
We were very pleased with our apartment in Paris near the Arc de Triomphe (Rental # PA-910). The apartment and location were just as we expected, and the rooms were clean and well-furnished. The owner was friendly and efficient, and we appreciated the welcome goodies in the fridge. The location is ideal for getting to all of the major sights in Paris by metro. We very much enjoyed our three days there.
We were also very pleased with the apartment in Avignon (Rental # PR-775), which was charming, clean and well-furnished. The owner was extremely friendly and gave us some great recommendations of things to do and places to see in Provence. The apartment was well-located in the old centre of Avignon and we appreciated having space to park our rental car. The apartment was a great base for day trips and we had a fun week there.
For the same trip, we worked with another rental company to book an apartment in Barcelona, and found that it was a more difficult experience than with New York Habitat. We only wish that New York Habitat had more properties in other cities around the world! We would definitely use them again.
