Businiess name:  Terry's Tag and Title Service

Review content:
I'm sure this company does standard tags just perfectly every day but, my situation should have been better handled, under-informed customer service reps give the service industry a bad name. The lady behind the counter was sure she knew what she was talking about too... I went to this company to get Ham radio tags for the new car I had just purchased and they looked at me like I was asking them for all the money in the safe or something. They told me that I needed a letter from the organization stating that I was authorized to put plates with my FCC granted license callsign on my own car. After researching this issue, I come to find out that all I needed (per MD MVA site) that I need a copy of my FCC license to get the Ham plates. After my own research revealed that they assumed I wanted "Organization" plates which is a completely different process than Ham plates. Amazing that a company like this doesn't know how the process works (they're the professionals...Hmmmmm), Soo frustrating. The other frustrating issue that topped the cake was that I recieved the yellow inspection certificate from the selling party that had the car inspected in Gaithersburg. The inspector took the Green copy (which is what the T&T company said they had to have) to send out and gave the yellow and white copy to the seller, the seller sent me the yellow copy which doesn't seem to be any good to this T&T service company. I was told by the inspection center that they always give the yellow copy to the customer to give to the MVA (ot T&T company) and never have a problem getting the process completed. I am very dissatisfied with the service and now I have to wait until Monday to goto the MVA to wait in line again so I can go pick up my new car that's been waiting to be picked up since yesterday, It is rediculous to have to go thought so much red tape just to get a car on the road. Funny part was that I had the information they needed. Their hang-up was over a colored document...What a crock of you know what!!!!
