Review content:
Before you order specialty cakes from this place, do your research, and ask more than one person behind the counter. You would think that a store that dose ONLY specialty or to order products would know what they are doing, but appratenly not.
We've bought cakes from this place several times, and always have been pleased. They are worth the premium, or so I had thoguht. My wife ordered cupcakes to look like Elmo for a birthday party this week over a month ago. When calling to increase the size of the order today, was told, "Oh, and we're not able to reproduce elmo on the cupcake for copywrite reasons." Well, the party is in three days. Was there a plan to call me? Apparently that was next on their list of things to do. I am not asking for a copy of elmo on a cake. Something that looks like him would have sufficed. There is now nothing to do, and no time to do it in for a little girl who has said "elmo cake" like a montra since May. What's worse, is there is no real appreciation for how badly this looks.
I find it utterly unprofessional to have been dealt with in this way. If I did my business like this I'd be on the street. "Wups... sorry... I made a mistake." I know it seems little, but it is the reason we came to this place. No work around was offered. Buyer beware of what is promised by this bakery.
