At first glance, this store seems like the place to go and they do have a variety of birds. As a previous breeder with 10+ years of experience, I was impressed at first. We had driven over an hour just to see the place. I placed a deposit on a cockatiel that was already eating seed and veggies, knowing it was close to weaning. I visited every week per the agreement when purchasing a bird from the store (an hour drive both ways). Over two months later, the bird was still not weaned and the owner then proceeded to tell me she wouldn't sell the bird unless I bought her food (months worth). I'm sorry, but I cut my own veggies, and feed both seed and pellet. I can get my own food. This trickery was not part of the purchasing agreement and it makes me think that the whole "visiting" request is simply another scheme to get people in the store. In my opinion, people should want to come in your store, not be forced into it. So, here I am, left with no bird. Rude, dishonest
