Businiess name:  Ardenwood Historical Farm
Review by:  Suzanne K.
Review content:
Particularly good for their re-enactments of the civil war on Memorial Day, this old-fashioned farm pulls out all the stops to make you believe that you've stepped back in time to a hundred years ago. Volunteers dressed in traditional clothing help complete the illusion, re-enacting turn of the century activities such as spinning wool into yarn, hammering out horseshoes at the blacksmiths' shop, and carting visitors around in horse-drawn hayrides. Helping make the hand-cranked ice cream is just one of the events that kids (and adults) will love.
