Review content:
Crave's was overall delicious and worth the long, windy walk to 12th Avenue. I had no idea what to expect from the mac n' cheese, having never eaten truffles before. Unfortunately I was disappointed, as it was salty and oily but otherwise tasty and filling. The other appetizer I tried, the white bean dip tasted odd, like it was fermented but the pita chips were good. Now for the entree I had the Sassy Sea Bass with the honey glaze butter and OMG, it was amaaazing!! I will be daydreaming about that for a long time. I haven't had fish that heavenly since Asia de Cuba. The couscous was also delicious and subtly sweet. I had to try the Sour Cream Panna Cotta for dessert and that was terrific as well, really creamy yet light. I went the only night that Dave's not there, Sunday, but the service was fast and friendly. The only downside to the atmosphere was one guy at the bar who got drunk and loud but he was quieted after while. Next time I'm in New York I will definitely go there again and not on a Sunday so I can give Dave a hug.
Pros: Great service, entrees and desserts are top notch
Cons: Appetizers apparently are a mixed bag. Didn't like the plasma t.v. at the bar.
