Hi, this is my first time writing a review, but I wanted to share to help spread the word. I took one of my friends to Crave tonight, and it was EXCELLENT. We had dinner at about 8pm and the place wasn't overly crowded but also wasn't empty. We were greeted and seated quickly. The food was really terrific. We started with bread (so good..!), then had the mac 'n cheese as an appetizer (delicious!). I had the filet mignon and my friend had the lobster ravioli! The filet was tender and terrific, potatoes and asparagus were great, and my friend was raving over the lobster ravioli. We then decided to split brownie-cake for dessert, and it too was delicious. For two of us...we totaled $100 including tip, which I thought was great for NYC in a restaurant of this caliber. Unfortunately Chef Martin wasn't there, but the staff was terrific. The place had a very extensive wine list, although we didn't partake at $10-$24/glass. Only other con is the portions can be considered a little small. The mac 'n cheese was AWESOME, but at $15 it could be a little more generous. The dessert was great but tiny compared to what I've seen at similar places. Bottom line: I think this place is a gem...a little far west but really worth the walk or cab ride over!! Wish we had seen Dave, but we were there, after all, for the food! We definitely plan to head back there! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great meal, in a quiet, somewhat different kind of atmosphere! Pros: Excellent food!! Cons: Portion Sizes could be a tad more generous
