If you're use to hostels you should be able to get use to this hotel.
The bathrooms are are about the size of a closet. You could barely get the door open without hitting the toilet bowl. Towels are tiny. The water would go from hot to searing hot at random intervals.
The sheets were questionable, strange stains.
The street that the hotel is located on is littered with homeless people.
The elevator is about the size of a phone booth.
Every wall is paper thin. We could hear our neighbor coughing all night. A car alarm would not stop beeping for 20 mins. You can hear bums yelling at eachother all night.
rooms are heated by noisy radiators. It was warm for us in the room so we turned it off, this just made it sputter and make more noise. We had to keep the ceiling fan running all night.
The hotel staff is very curtious, but i think this is because they know how crappy their hotel is.
Pros: Location to buses, bart, and other neighborhoods
Cons: tiny bathrooms, dirty sheets, unsafe street, NOISY
