You know when you first move to a new neighborhood you always have to search for the essential local retailers and services (liquor store, good local bar, ,liquor store, grocery store, dry cleaners * in that order).
I was lucky enough to have the recommendation of a friend for a good cleaners.
Although Capital Hill has quite a few dry cleaners, what separates C H Cleaners from the rest is that they do their laundry and pressing in-house. Many cleaners send their laundry off premises and only do alterations and minor pressing.
I went to C H Cleaners to launder and press 8 shirts and have 2 suits pressed. Dropped them off at about 3pm and returned to get them the following day.
Service and price are excellent. I highly recommend this cleaner.
Also there is limited parking for those of you that drive.
