Businiess name:  Equinox Santa Monica

Review content:
Equinox is a very new (Jan 2005) luxurious gym. It's located right off the Promenade and includes 2 hours of parking (I've never had a problem finding a space). The gym is 4 levels: 1st floor is weights, reception, fitness shop and small cafe. 2nd floor is cardio & weights. A mezzanine level has more cardio as well as spinning. Third floor is a large cardio area & more weights, as well as a large studio. Top floor hosts the spa, yoga room, and an area for more weights as well as stretching. Always kept spotlessly clean. Flat screen surround the cardio machines. Lots of classes - instructors & trainers are top-notch. Free towels everywhere. And I've never had to wait for equipment (no time limits on machines either). The gym is even open on holidays. Of course...what's the catch? The price. It's pretty expensive - but if you go often, it's worth the investment.
