I live locally and have heard all the hype about Sagittarius supposedly being the best, especially when it comes to hair color above all else. I have always had blond highlights in my light brown hair, and eventually it just became a little too light and I just wanted a little brown added back into it. I went to SS with pictures of exactly what I wanted...and pictures of exactly what I did not want to make certain the colorist understood exactly what I meant. I was told this would be possible but that I needed a multi-process service to achieve the look I desired rather than just some lowlights (although I voiced that I did not want anything drastic). I trusted the "expert advice" I was receiving from a "master colorist" and had the more expensive service done. I was asked to pay while still at the shampoo bowl with color on my hair. My hair turned out a dark reddish-brown with minimal highlights that you could not even see. It looked ridiculous with my fair complexion. I was shocked and extremely upset with the results. She understood that it was not what I wanted and tried a few things to improve it without success. My hair was totally ruined. She refused to do anything else to fix it because she did not want to cause further damage to my hair. I ended up having to go to another salon in town to have my color fixed as much as possible...and was able to get it to an acceptable shade that I can deal with until it grows out. This was an absolutely horrible experience that I paid for not only with money...and I will never go back. Having talked with many other local ladies after this...I found out a little too late for myself that many others have been displeased as well with color and cuts and they will not be returning either. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I would however, highly recommend Bella Salon also in Hagerstown. Ladies-be careful with your hair...it takes a long time to grow out!
