Looking to have my car properly serviced. and set up an appointment for service.
It needed a tune up, oil & filter change only. Service advisor called with a list of repairs they recommend should be done.
These repairs would have cost over $4,000. I did have a few items fixed but they wanted to replace my right rear window motor at a cost of $1,100. which I declined. Arrived at the dealership paid $1,800 for repairs and proceeded to my car. To my shock my right rear window was down, a broken bolt on my rim and grease all over the car. After speaking with service they told me I would have to leave the car til next day as they were closed. A coworker drove me over the next day to pick up car. Rear window was finally pulled up but car was a mess. Service told me cause car was 1990 could not fix the rim bolt they broke.
Wrote numerous letters to Mercedes in NJ and the dealership. Headquarters in NJ told me to speak to dealership as they don't get involved in disputes. Mercedes Benz dealership General Mgr refused to speak with me and letters sent out fell on deaf ears. They ignored me cause car was an older model but kept in perfect shape . End result this dealership sucks and the personnel are just groveling for your money. Steer clear of this rip-off dealer personnel totally suck there and could care less about the customer. I will never go back there.
