Review content:
I just had to give my input after reading the many responses here by other clients and patients who visit the office. I must say that the Doctor is wonderful, knowledgable and spends a significant amount of time with each patient. In saying that, this is probably the result the delays in her waiting room. I have had several visits to her already for hormone replacement therapy. Each visit, I have waited in the waiting room no less than 2-3 hours waiting to see the doctor. Never mind the fact that unless you have Medicaid they do not bill your insurance, and although you have great insurance, a minimum visit to her can run you between $200-$300 dollars of which you are reimbursed maybe $100, which is usually the maximum payable by most consults to a physician for an hour. (This I must say is pretty sad in itself. Now I do believe that money should not come into play, especially when you feel confident that a physician is the best, but, when offices such as this are run lin this manner, you are left to wonder exactly why you are putting yourself through this when their are so many other physicians to choose from.
I would not recommend a visit to this office, unless you have the patience of a saint and lots of money to pay out of your pocket. I have to say, I would probably be better off if I were indigent and had Medicaid. It's a sorry world we live in. Not sure where we are going to end up.But Something has to change with the Medical Profession as a whole.
