Had a serious, life threatening condition. Dr. A said she would call with lab results next day. I waited and waited and called for several days talked to her extremely snotty nurse, finally she got on the phone told me I had a serious illness, duh! Then told me I could call around and find my own specialist and then call her back so she could fax my info to them. Well unbeknown to me you can not set up your own specialist she has too, after so many years of practice wouldn't she know that? More calling, went to pick up my paperwork( wasn't going back!) she put me
in a room I told her all the docs had to have her fax and call them and I told her it would be a 4 month wait if she didn't tell them how bad my blood work was, her job. She told me well yes I may have to wait 4 months, even though my eyes and heart may have permanent damage. She left me in the room 45 mins and in the meantime her husband, I think? Came into the room and started asking me ques. And was very helpful, well lila came in and started yelling at him to get out b/c I was her patient. She then me she had already called the specialist several times and faxed over the info to him and that I should now go down there to his office to try to get my own appt. Drove over there and found out she had NEVER called or faxed the info, my friend called the receptionist and told her to send the info NOW. she finally did. So in a nutshell very poor doctor, very unprofessional, very rude.
On a happier note I found a competent doctor who has some decency.
