My family had a doberman pinscher that we were very attached to. Problem was the dog was totally destructive -- to the point where we were going to have to get rid of him (and break my children's hearts).
I had always been skeptical of the idea of dog training in general. I figured that you might be able to make marginal improvements to a dog, but not totally solve their problems. I doubt change this dramatic can happen all the time, but K-9 Companions totally transformed our dog.
We got a consultation where his problems were diagnosed, then he was kept at the kennel several weeks, we picked him up and got a lesson on their training field, and we got follow up lessons at our home afterward.
My expectation of what was possible for our dog were totally exceeded. If you have challenges as big as ours, I recommend K-9 Companions.
