Review content:
I took my four children the past 3 years for an over night stay and to the waterpark, even though we live nearby. I found it easiest to have a room to recouperate in inbetween waterpark trips. You cannot stay in the waterpark for extended periods of time because the chlorine is just too much. It gets in your eyes and your lungs and it is literally all you can taste for a couple of days. It was always a lot of fun, but you really need to watch that, especially with the younger children. My children were all older than 6 when I started taking them, but my friend came along one year with her 4 yr old and he really had trouble with breathing due to the air in there. I would not recommend staying for more than one night, either, since all you want to do there can pretty much be accomplished in one over night stay. Also there is a pool that is separate from the waterpark (on the other side of the hotel) that is a good change of pace when the waterpark gets to be too much with the chlorine and all, it's a little easier to breath in there, too, but there is no lifeguard at that pool. My kids love it there, and I do, too, because it keeps them happy and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet. It is also much cheaper than the indoor waterparks up north and it has more to do than the indoor waterparks down south. Also you can save money by bringing in a big cooler to your room with food and snacks for the kids on your breaks. Also, I would recommend davinci's pizza in Frankenmuth for carry out, but they don't deliver to the hotels.
