Businiess name:  DEVACHAN HAIR SALON
Review by:  Jane D.
Review content:
This salon is all about hype and "style". It is THE MOST IMPRACTICAL haircutting salon experience I have ever had. The good news- They are not scissor happy. The bad news- They don't really cut your hair to suit your face- or your style- or your schedule- They cut you hair to suit your hair. A little snip here, a little snip there- but NO SHAPE. Not like any haircut I ever had. THEN, the application of hair goop and clips to manipulate the curl (WHAT? I have curly hair- cut it correctly and you won't have to manipulate it!). And sit under the hairdryer because it has to air dry. Of course, you can't run your fingers through your hair when it's done, because it is GLUED into place. I honestly felt like I was at an old lady salon from forty years ago... It was curly helmet hair. A year later, I went back to the first person who cut my curly hair into blunt layers- Starting at the crown- the cut took 20 minutes, it air dried by itself in 5 minutes and I walked out with a head full of curls that I could sleep on, wear a hat over and it would spring back- for a very reasonable price. NOT what you get at Devachon- BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CUT CURLY HAIR!!! They only know how to style it. And charge you a fortune in the process. If you have worn your curly hair natural for years like I have, run, do not walk away from this place- They will not understand your lifestyle or your hair.
