The first--and last--time I went to Bellagio was on my birthday in 2003. Granted, my birthday's on Valentine's Day and restaurants are ALWAYS busy, but I'm not new to going out on that day, and this was ridiculous! We headed out around 9pm and were sat at the bar while waiting for a table. By the time we got our table, ordered, and got our food it was close to 11:30pm! We didn't leave the restaurant until close to 1:30am! I ordered the filet mignon well done and it came out rare, not to mention that at least half of it was inedible fat. During our entire meal the waitstaff was huddled around and staring us down--at least that's what it felt like. You'd think that if they had nothing to do but stand around, it wouldn't take half an hour to get our dessert to us. After we paid our check I asked to speak with the manager. The service there was no better. Our waiter even had the gall to demand what the problem was when he saw us talking with the manager. For the record, we already paid our bill; I was not seeking a comp meal, I wanted to inform the manager of the quality of service (or lack thereof) they were providing. The manager was not very conducive to suggestions or comments, which prompts me to tell everyone I know to STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT! Service was bad, food was awful, and it's not cheap either!
