Review content:
I read someone's review from 2008, and felt I had to respond since my experience at this center is the opposite. To be fair, I know the place has had management changes since she was there.
The place is spotless! That's not easy to do with a business full of youngsters but they are clean and bright. The teachers there are top-notch, and my two kids have sort of adopted her as part of the family. The oldest is picked up and delivered to school, on time. The youngest, has learned his ABCs a full year ahead of schedule.
I have tried other places, both in OKC and Yukon ... the difference in quality of care was evident right from the start. I did hear that the previous management was sub-par, apparantly Kindercare's brass made a lot of changes. Starting with staff. I doubt anyone still works there from the other reviewer's time there. My sister used them a few years ago and while she wasn't as negative as the other parent, she found them to be "lacking in smiles," as she put it. The competition wasn't any better though.
For our money and our kids, we are delighted with Kindercare and wouldn't think of changing. There was even an afterhours "gala" tonight where parents and kids, teachers, and directors could all mingle over coffee and cookies while looking over the classrooms.and the kid's art. That's how I found this rewview site, I wanted to see if theres any mention of these events on the web.
Pros: Professional Outfit ... my kids love Kindercare
Cons: Sometimes kids want to stay when I pick them up.
