There are not enough to superlatives to decribe just how great a stylist Rita is and a very sweet girl in general! No doubt Astor Place has a star stylist.
I was introduced to Rita because my best friend has been using her for a long time and her hair has always looked a hundred times better than mine. My previous stylist at another salon was so boring and my hair looked washed out and dull with no style at all. Rita completely changed all that for me. I am so comfortable with her, she is a total pro and is very funny and likeable. We seemed to bond instantly which in my opinion is very, very important. I know now that I have a stylist I can trust and I can count on to keep me looking my best. I have a management position at my company and I need to be "on" all the time. Rita has done wonders for me, I am definitely getting noticed a lot more now with my new look. Besides a stunning new haircut, she completely transformed my old boring color - my hair is so rich and shiney now. It also has a healthy bounce to it that was not there before. I also had her gve me very subtle and cool highlights which made a huge difference. I literally look like I have been away on vacation! Rita really knows what she's doing, every step of the way. I really love Rita and I will be sending friends and clients to Astor Place and into her chair. I would give her a hundred stars if I could! My recommendation when you call the front desk is to ask for Rita's cell number and make the appoinment directly with her to avoid any confusion - It's a big place with lots of people. Good Luck!
