Review content:
I've always hated getting my hair cut. The dull small talk, the discomfort of the shampoo, the way my hair always seems to end up looking exactly the same. But Art + Science has changed all that. The sleek, modern facade could easily give the impression that the employees might be a bit on the snobby side, but this couldn't be further from true. From the person on the phone to the person styling my hair, I've always been treated with friendliness and respect. I trust my stylist completely, so much so that I let him do what he wants, knowing that I'm not going to end up with something strange or pointy protruding from my head. The environment is pleasant (I'm a big fan of modern design in general) and relaxing, without trying too hard. Perhaps the best thing about Art + Science is the shampoo, which is more of a scalp massage than cleansing. Honestly, it's one of the greatest things ever, and more than enough of a reason to shell out the cash and make the trip to Lincoln Park.
