Businiess name:  Shades of Green On Walt Disney World Resort
Review by:  Bill F.
Review content:
We have stayed at Shades many times, before and after the renovation. The physical changes are spectacular for the lobby and front area, as well as the new rooms. With so many new rooms, reservations are much easier to get, and the lobby is the match of any in the Disney resorts. We still love the old rooms and request staying there every year, but the hallways and rugs could use an update. Problems definitely exist with the support staff, though it has improved since disastrous plunge coinciding with the remodel. House keeping staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. Must have had some good training. But the food staff, especially in the Garden restaurant, is horrible. I have recommended they contract it out to Disney. Also, the beautiful garage is marred by having to pay to park ($7 per day). No other resort on Disney grounds charges, why nickel and dime the soldier? So if you can eat outside of Shades and park at the golf course, the stay is great. Strongly recommend it to all military to stay there.
