Businiess name:  Gregg's Greenlake Cycle
Review by:  Patrick D.
Review content:
I came in to the store having already called ahead to put a specific bike on layaway, meaning all the hard work for them had already been done. The rep who helped me out kept talking to me very slowly...like..I..couldn't...understand. It was almost as if he was reading from a teleprompter behind me. As I return from my test ride, pretty excited about my new bike, I told the rep I loved it, and was ready to buy it, plus accessories too. You would think the rep would be happy about that...but you would be wrong. I had heard from people who recommended Gregg that they gave 10% discounts on accessories, and keep in mind the bike alone is already extremely expensive to start with. The rep's first answer was "well you would have to talk to my manager, but I don't know if you can do that" (Hum..what? Why not?). Once the manager finally comes, instead of talking to me, he acts as if I'm invisible and speaks to the rep standing right next to me. I'm not asking for a gift, but I'm ready and willing to pay thousands and I don't think 20$ off 200$ accessories is a lot to ask for. After all this, despite me knowing they do offer discounts to some customers, he blows me off in an indifferent, somewhat condescending way, implying they are already doing me a favour. In his words, "we don't have a problem selling these bikes". Yikes. They do have a good selection, but if you can, I strongly advise you go somewhere else.
